The South Summit Mountain Bike Team is comprised of high school and middle school students from the South Summit School District. We participate in the Utah High School Cycling League, which is the state chapter of NICA. Our athletes compete during the fall in four regular-season races plus a state championship.

About Us
Founded in 2016, the South Summit Mountain Bike Team is a rapidly growing team. We had 75 athletes during the 2025 season. Our mission is to:

Support students of all abilities who have the desire to mountain bike with the coaching and camaraderie to foster mountain biking as a competitive and lifelong sport;

Develop amateur athletes who are both gracious and respectful; and

Establish a responsible attitude toward the use of trails and wilderness.
